Best. Craft Retreat. Ever.

Thursday afternoon I hauled off to Camp Forest Springs for a crafting retreat with CrafterChris and CrafterJo from church. I took a modest selection of projects, including some quilts I needed to finish for the show this Saturday and some Project Linus tops to make. I don't know if it was the atmosphere, or the fact that I didn't have to worry about preparing food, or my sheer will to get so much done, but I think I accomplished more in two and a half days than I have in any other two and a half day period.

Here's a quick photo album of some of the stuff I did:

Baby Block Swap using a jelly roll

Butterfly Blanket

Raider Pride quilt for my cousin

Thomas the Train and Pink Panther disappearing nine-patch quilts for Project Linus

Batik Borealis not pictured

I forgot batting so I wasn't able to finish three of the quilts I have for the quilt show, and didn't get any rod pockets made, but my mom is coming up to help me on Thursday and crank out as much as I can.

Whew! I almost need a vacation from my retreat! Soon my weekend travels will be over and I'll have a few days to myself. To do what? Oh, plan more quilts of course. ;)
